Bookside

A two-sided book marketplace where readers discover titles and official stores while merchants manage performance, promotions, products, and order fulfillment through a dedicated Seller Center.

Buyer marketplace homepage

The main Bookside storefront gives readers one place to search for books, browse categories, discover featured authors, visit official stores, and start selling.

(01) Problem
Book buyers need an engaging way to discover titles and trusted stores, while sellers need a separate operational workspace that makes daily shop and order management manageable.

Book discovery and Book Rush deals

The signed-in buyer homepage highlights book categories and a timed Book Rush section where shoppers can compare discounted titles and purchase directly.

(02) What I built
I helped build the buyer marketplace, official mall experience, account flows, seller authentication, performance dashboard, and order-management interface shown in this case study.

Official Bookside Mall storefront

An official seller page presents shop ratings, followers, sales history, buyer protections, store navigation, and claimable vouchers before customers browse its catalog.

(03) Impact
The product brings discovery, promotions, seller credibility, performance monitoring, and fulfillment workflows together in one connected marketplace experience.

Buyer account access

The buyer login experience supports email credentials, password recovery, account registration, and Google or Facebook sign-in in a focused two-panel layout.

Seller Center login

Book merchants enter through a separate Seller Center portal designed around shop management, with dedicated seller authentication and a direct path back to the buyer site.

Seller performance dashboard

The seller dashboard summarizes revenue, orders, unique buyers, return rate, sales trends, shop health, top products, and common store-management actions.

Seller order management

The order workspace helps merchants review incoming purchases, monitor pending and delivered orders, inspect item-level details, filter records, and continue fulfillment.
